Photo Walk 2014 Fort. Pierce, Florida (the Jetty)

So a lot of people want to know if I'm on vacation when I go back to the states the answer is almost always no. I don't have a lot of time for fun because I'm working as much as I can.

This year however, I did get to have a little bit of fun. A very good friend of mine recommended the Photo Walk to me this year and I was intrigued.

Author Mary Ellen Boyd is Back!

My good friend and author Mary Ellen Boyd is back with a new book, a new genre, and a new interview. Check out the interview here on my writer's blog. You've got two days to pick up your free copy of the book on Amazon here.

The reviews are already coming in here's what a one person had to say:
"The characters were well developed and the writing was fantastic! I was so disappointed when it ended. I was looking forward to another installment of Ms. Boyd's Days of Judges series and now I can't decide what I hoped she does next but whatever it is I am looking forward to it!"
*Please do this author the great service of not only reading her story but don't forget to leave your own review.

SERVICE, WORK, HOME, AND NEWS

It's Going To Be Another Busy Year

It's so interesting the things you learn about people serving here in Nicaragua. I met up with a couple that moved here when I did and found that not only did the adopt an Ocelot...yeah, I didn't know what that was either. There's a picture below but feel free to Google that one. She looks a little like a miniature leopard. She's belongs in the 'wild cat' family but this kind couple saved her from a birdcage and starvation. Then they built a small chocolate business to earn money while living here. and named it for their big kitty. Chocolate..mmmm...my favorite. I volunteered my services in exchange for chocolate ;-)
