Cesar & Eli

I've been dragging my feet making this post because it was one of the hardest to write. The fact is that these are friends that were once pillars in Nicaraguan sign language and have now been reassigned to serve where the need is much greater in Guatemala. Here is just a little bit about where they've been and where they're going.

Stats:
Married 20 years
11 years as missionaries in Nicaragua
Baptized 30 and 28 yrs respectively
Assigned to Masaya congregation in 2005

Where they're going:
Smaller than Masaya and rural.
18 publishers one other elder.
10 Celsius much colder than here in Nicaragua
Plans: Invited to school for married couples in Guatemala
Goals: to learn new language and culture (K’iche’ or Quiché)

Hardest thing about moving to Nicaragua was being far from family.
The easiest things to adjust to had been the climate and language.

* They'll be missed of course, but we wish them well in their new assignment. May Jehovah continue to bless them.
