Days with Mom

First the apology: I'm so sorry! My blog website and my old browser broke up and were no longer speaking to each other. It took me a while to figure out why my pictures wouldn't load up. I think I've got it down now. I'm so sorry to those of you waiting for pictures and news and now that my blog and new browser are seeing each other I don't believe it will take so long to get the new posts up and available.

Fun in the sun at Montelimar with friends. As you can see from our smiles this was our actual vacation time.

My favorite place. Mom's favorite place :)

Me and my sisters at the LSN convention. There were about 180 deaf on Sunday.

Yeah, we know we look like bandits but without a bandana you're just breathing in the sulfur from this currently active volcano in Masaya.

Here's mom leaning on a tree overlooking the Laguna de Apoyo in Diria.

We had lunch up here at a great little restaurant. After a long day of visiting the volcano in Masaya, the Masaya market and Catalina we made it to this quaint little spot I'd never been.  The food and drinks were delicious, the service was great and there were no other tourists in sight. What a find!
This poor home/business in Granada was on it's last leg and as seen here just crumpled to the street. In the picture you can just make out the pole with a brick attached to the end on the right that they tried to use as a temporary support beam.  This mess rerouted traffic to the market for well over two weeks. The only good thing about it, was that we were able to fill the streets with pedestrian traffic without the ever present fear of being hit by a motorcycle or bus.

My Roommate Nazareth and mom made the best peanut butter cookies EVER! They didn't last very long.

Mom on her way out the door to the airport finally got this shot coming down my stairs.

We had a great time. Can't wait to do it again mom!
